Pleistocene period, this well preserved large fossil adult cave bear paw measures approximately 30 x 22.5cm
Note: The cave bear is a prehistoric species of bear that lived in Europe and parts of Eurasia, with their remains found in caves across the region. They lived during the Pleistocene epoch, from around 2.6 million years ago before becoming extinct about 24,000 years ago during the Last Glacial Maximum. The Cave Bear had an overall body length of around 2.7 -3.5m and a giant upright standing height of around 3 - 3.5m
